Brace Face

There was a reason I had a tooth removed a couple of weeks ago was because today I am being fitted with one of these:

Keep your fingers crosssed for me that I'm not in too much pain when it is fitted

  4. Good luck with the brace! My sister has been wearing her Invaslign braces since the summer and it is amazing what they have done so far, she's got another 6 months to go. The technology these days is just amazing. xx

  7. Hope it goes ok dude :-)

I didn't much like wearing mine, but wish I had worn the retainer now as my bottom teeth are more wonky than when I started!

  8. Good luck Victoria! I'm in today at 11am as I've lost a filling - oh joy!
I had braces years ago and they gave me such a straight smile - clever dentists!
Let us know how you got on. Xx

  9. Are you getting braces or a plate?
My dad had braces which he got removed last year and I had them when i was at school, it really is worth it in the long run :) If your getting braces, they hurt at first and then again when they get tightened...but like i said worth it :)

  10. Oh I'm actually rather jealous! I want some! Though I'd prefer the ones that are hidden behind your teeth. Growing up in the US I had loads of teeth surgery to achieve the 'perfect' smile but when we returned to the UK this stopped. I now have reasonably straight teeth but one or two have gone incredibly wonky and it looks odd! I know the American smile is not necessarily one to aspire to for all (some say it strips away personality in some ways) but I'd rather like to have one... Too much money though me thinks now I'm no longer a kid and have to pay! xxx Good luck with yours though!

  18. Wish i'd stuck to wearing mine. It will be so worth it if you stick to with them.
If I remember rightly, they didn't hurt, just a little strange and uncomfortable at first.
    Good luck

  25. Hi there! Well, I know it's been a year since you've posted this entry and I was just wondering if you're still wearing braces. Last week, I went to our nearby dentists in Hattiesburg, MS for my oral exam. They said that I might need to wear partial braces and its best that I visit a local Hattiesburg orthodontics. Thankfully, they referred me to a very friendly specialist. I'm actually reluctant at first but I'm sure it is for the best. Hope to see more pictures of you. Love reading your blog posts!
