You may remember Bumble & Bumble's Thickening Shampoo and Condition popping up in May's Favourites posts and as you can they are such a favourite that I went out and purchased the full sized versions.
I was slightly apprehensive as whilst knowing that Bumble & Bumble is a great brand and my recent love of the thickening shampoo and conditioner it has been known that the love can instantly turn to hate as my hair decides what was once an amazing product is no longer going to work.
Bumble & Bumble products are not the cheapest and I could have returned to the John Frieda brand that has served me well but as the saying goes, buy cheap buy twice so I thought let's dive in and spend the big bucks than speak wistfully about what could of been.
So what does this shampoo claim and obviously works for me to have parted with nearly £40 for shampoo and conditioner. The thickening range is targeted for those with fine, thinning, limp and fly away hair or those seeking fullness. The shampoo apparently builds body as you wash it whilst moisturising and sealing split ends.
I do not have fine hair, it's thick in fact but I don't have a lot of it as my hairdresser would say so it's very susceptible to these types of products. Whilst some shampoos merely weigh my hair down and another can give me the lift and bounce I'm looking depending on my hairs mood (so it seems) the Bumble and Bumble products repeatedly give me a better look.
As well as the opportunity to use a Boots Advantage Card voucher because I spent so much (!) the lovely ladies at Bumble and Bumble also gave me a free sample of the Thickening hairspray which I'm a regular user of (as you'll see in the next empties post) and a pile of Bumble & Bumbles Surf shampoo and conditioner which I'm a user of.
I'm intrigued to see how many washes I'll gain from the larger bottles as I seemed to whizz through the sample sizes I picked up in the States but as long as it does what it says I'm happy.
Are you a Bumble and Bumble fan?
