Smelling Good

When I saw that Yankee Doodle was offering 3 large Yankee Candle jars for £40 I couldn't resist - especially when it included USA exclusives

Somehow a 4th candle also jumped in my basket, here's what I brought

They smell GORGEOUS

  1. WOW you can't imagine how jealous I am!!! Right now I have a Clean Cotton burning, those scents sound gorgeous! Which is your favourite one? I must get some more Shortbread Cookie as that's my ultimate favourite :)

  3. Oh they look like they smell yummy.
I really must go to Yanki more often. I tend to burn home fragrance oil more than candles.
    Hope they smell great.

  4. I love them, but I have only so far smelled someone elses... boo hoo! Must splash out one day! I saw some at a garden centre the other day. Picked it up, looked longingly towards George, the man with the wallet, but not a flicker from him, so I put it down again! Suzie xx

  5. Oh yes I do love their smell. Mind you they are so expensive that I usually only pick up the Tarts.
I stuck one on the dashboard in the car and it melted in the heat and I had a major clean up operation LOL.

  7. Yes! I have found that they are the only candles that actually smell fragrant when you burn them.

  12. Feeling utterly jealous here. I love Yankee candles and I have three little jars around the house. I love the farmer's Market one to burn in the kitchen as it makes after cooking smells go away and leave an amazing sweet smell. xx

  13. certainly am, and so is Tiny Girl. She loves it when I say 'lets order some candles', we go to scentedcandleshop.com who are brilliant. If I order early in the morning, they're here the next day! Just the votives and tarts though, I'd go bankrupt if I bought glass jars too.

So right now, we have a drawer full of all sort of fragrances.I've slightly overdosed on the Almond cookie one! I'd love that lemon chiffon one. Sparkling lemon is pretty, but not as lemony as I'd like!

I choose them according to my mood, which is why I still have some christmas ones when I place an order. I would say my fave at the moment is Fresh Cut Roses and Strawberry Buttercream.

Hope you are feeling 100% now xxxx

  29. I have two scent burners so I buy the tarts as they are much better value. They last forever. I like the Christmassy scents but my all time fave is Amber which I can't often find :(
