Lotto Fun

I don't often buy lottery tickets - which is madness really as a psychic once told me I would win the lottery! - but whilst picking up a magazine this afternoon I treated myself to lucky dips for the Friday and Saturday draws

So let's have a little fun this weekend and pretend that my magic numbers have come up and being the generous soul that I am will be buying you a gift with my winnings....

What would you ask for?

  1. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
I once bought a lottery ticket out of the blue and won just over £2k -to me it felt like a million.
See, I'm proof that miracles do happen, and let's face it, someone's got to win it.

  2. Why thank-you, so very generous! I would ask for regular private speech and language therapy for my little girl who has down sydrome! She doesn't get nearly enough on the NHS and its so expensive privately we can't afford the weekly sessions she would benefit from...oh well we can but dream!!! Justine xx

  3. ooooh it'd be lovely to win wouldn't it, god knows me and mr M could do with the extra pennies! I think everyone should just make a list of things they'd spend their money on if they won the lottery :P i'd love to set up an animal sanctuary! xx

  4. I would ask for a little to send my hard working daughter and her partner on a nice holiday. They are working flat out, even at nights sometimes til 11 in the evening, trying to buy a home and they so deserve a break...perhaps I'll buy them a ticket...you never know!

  6. Why thank you! But I'm content with what I have and what I want (relations who have passed away) money can't buy.

  7. What fun. Now let me see, I should really say things like a donation to my animal shelter or age concern who are both close to my heart. But what I really want to say is I'd have one of those super sewing machines that do everything on it's own. And the plus side, I could make super things to raise money for the animals and the oldies so we all win:o) xx

  10. ooohhh how lovely it would be to win the Lottery :) I've only brought a few tickets & have won nothing.
I would ask for a little bit of freedom.....I've worked since the age of 15, that's more years then I care to remember! Just 6 months off, or even a year would be lovely.....you could pay all my bills :)
    Good luck :) x

  11. What a lovely idea. There is a new children's hospice being built nearby, so I would like to see what I could buy for them. On a more selfish note I would love a (very) belated honeymoon. We had a surprise wedding so couldn't do the honeymoon thing. Just a week away without the Little People would be divine!xx

  14. I would love what money cannot buy; 'peace of mind' and reassurance that my son ,who is 15, and wayward will wake up before it is too late... on a lighter note a week at Butlins haha. Great blog thanks

  20. My husband always gets my hopes up on the rare occasion we buy a ticket and convinces me it's a winner! Alas, it never is...
If we won we'd buy a Georgian Pile house with a spot of land and play at keeping a smallholding :D xx
