  6. blimey! That's a bit harsh!

I was watching the repeat of Hugh F-W's Christmas last night. He had some kind of reindeery type of meat. Can't be more specific than that as I was trying to watch Miranda and Corrie at the same time! When he gleefully announced he was about to cook the tongue, channel hopping resumed! Eww.

ooh, the tins are easy peasy lemon squeezy. Quite good fun to do actually. Am starting to get *slightly* addicted!

  9. What really appeals to me, in a weird kind of way, is that they had to specify it was 'edible'!

Obvously reindeer are a staple for the diet of Lapplanders, so OK, they get eaten, but it is a bit naff as a Christmas delicacy.

  11. Hi Victoria

Most disturbing indeed, imagine a child spotting that! Don't like the idea of it at all... I agree with Floss it is strange how they label it as edible. I feel the same about Venisson, not for me...

    Warm wishes

  19. I wonder what inedible reindeer pate is like? As a veggie, it really doesn't appeal, but presumably they anticipate some sort of demand! I think they should have had slightly more festive packaging!

  21. Good grief! I had to cover all my reindeers eyes very quickly so they wouldn't die of shock!
