Gift Wrapping

In blogland we all love wrapping our presents in brown paper tied with pretty ribbons don’t we?

I love to add a vintage brooch picked up from a charity shop or boot sale to add a little something extra

Brooches often cost less than pricey paper and tags

This year I’m going to look out for button badges for a more kitsch look for the younger members of my family

  5. I have bought my 'Big uns' vouchers for the last 7 or 8 years as they are just too old for me to know what they're into at the time. But I always wrap the envelope up and dress it lovingly...what a great way of making it more personal...I am certainly 'nicking' this idea V.

    Thanks. Love C. xxx

  9. and it looks so lovely too. That's why I use layers of tissue paper for pressies. Looks so pretty, makes a very satisfying rustly sound, and is different to all the M&S and Sainsbury's giftwrap that seems to be used by everyone!

HOpe you can get the Martha Halloween mag, it had some really lovely ideas in it.

p.s am loving your wall colours, your purple looks similar to a colour we have in the bathroom. It's called Chalk Violet by Fired Earth, and is what I call a dirty purple, it's a really relaxing and warm colour. Love it.
