Curtain Call

At last I have some curtains up in my front room!

I think they'll compliment the new red sofa covers I've ordered perfectly to make my living room look festive for Christmas!

Gift Wrapping

In blogland we all love wrapping our presents in brown paper tied with pretty ribbons don’t we?

I love to add a vintage brooch picked up from a charity shop or boot sale to add a little something extra

Brooches often cost less than pricey paper and tags

This year I’m going to look out for button badges for a more kitsch look for the younger members of my family

Disney Fun!

Disney on Ice was FABULOUS!

My cousin Beth & I couldn't resist buying ourselves some Minnie ears

but it looks my other cousin William was jealous and wanted to play!

He rated the show 8 and 3/4 which sounds like a thumbs up to me!

IKEA Tromsnes Daybed

Yesterday I went to collect my Ikea Tromsnes daybed and thankfully it fit in my car and I even managed to put it together all by myself when I arrived home. My spare room is starting to come along nicely with another recent eBay purchase added and of course Hello Kitty watches over proceedings.
