Book Review | The Secret Shopper Affair by Kate Harrison

I finished The Girls Guide to Homemaking this week and loved it

Although not quite filled with domesticity as I might have liked I loved the snippets from yesteryears Homemaking guides and the story certainly resonated with me!

Yesterday I returned to the Secret Shopper series with The Secret Shopper Affair

I have read all the previous books so I was looking forward to hearing what the 3 secret shoppers have been up to! Unfortunately I couldn't get into the book on reading it to and from work. You know sometimes you know how a book is going to turn out and you're just not interested in how they get there?

Of course there was another book waiting to be read, Wicked Games by Sasha Wagstaff

I only have 1 day left of commuting to work for this week so we'll see if this read will stand the test!

I'd also like to take a moment to remember my Nan who left our family 2 years ago today

She was an avid reader too (Mills & Boon was her choice!) and I can always remember staying the night at her house and she'd get up in the morning to make us both a cup of tea and then we'd sit in bed reading together

Pin It Now!
