Rockabilly Wedding

Yesterday I spent another interesting day at a Rockabilly themed wedding renewal!

Here I am with the bride in her fabulous Vivien of Holloway dress. My SIL who is currently going through a Rackabilly phase got very excited about the theme and asked to do my hair and make up

Didn't she do a great job and believe it or not thanks to an awful lot of hairspray I'm still sporting it this morning (easier than tackling brushing out the backcombing!)

Indulgence

Yesterday evening I was feeling a little grumbly so decided to treat myself to some decadent Laduree macaroons from the new store across from my office

It's a beautiful branch filled with many lovely goodies - how I managed to leave with just sweet treats was proof I do have willpower!

I couldn't resist choosing the Hello Kitty box!

Pricey but fabulous!

Spa Saturday

Yesterday I travelled to Sopwell House in St Albans for a spa day in honour of my cousins hen party

It was a lovely day sitting around in our robes and slippers, a spot of lunch and some relaxing treatments

Included in our package was a delicious buffet lunch and a facial, body scrub and massage

The only downside to the day was the shortage of sunbeds around the pool but that just meant more time had to be spent in the jacuzzi!

Birthday Bonanza

It' was a fabulous birthday and Easter weekend for me with lot's of fun and frolics with friends starting Thursday with drinks after work

Good Friday was spent "recovering" on the sofa until I managed to drag myself off and join my parents and aunts at the local pub for a birthday burger!

Saturday my friends joined me for a birthday lunch in one of our favourite cafes in town.

It was madness with all the growing children but great to catch up with everyone

That evening was spent having dinner with friends and watching The Voice (loving that show!) and Britains Got Talent until Sunday the "official" day arrived and I received my special present... a Mulberry Bayswater

Of course there was cake!

I had a lovely weekend and it's not over yet! Today mum and I are bound for Bluewater, last day of freedom before back to work tomorrow!

I hope you had as much fun as I did this weekend and haven't eaten too much chocolate!

We indulged in a delicious treat in the small coffee shop

It wasn't good for the diet but my were the calories worth it!
