Vichy Idealia Eyes and Serum Review

Vichy Idealia range* link

The Vichy skincare brand is a pretty big hit with me since being introduced through blogging to the Idealia Range earlier this year. The first product I tried was Vichy Idealia Life Serum* welcoming it's approach at taking into account modern day (bad) behaviours such as lack of sleep, smoking and poor diet. I loved this serum when I initially tried it out and it was the perfect companion for my morning skincare regime as is Vichy Idealia Smoothing and Illuminating Cream*.

I loved using this moisturiser as part of my morning skincare regime and only paused doing so to try other products that I had received. As they have now made their way to my empties pile I am once again using this as my day cream in combination with Idealia Life Serum and finding I have a winning combination.

Throw in new Vichy Idealia Eyes Cream* and no matter how little sleep I had the night before, hungover or general feeling blah I'm able to hide it well. Idealia Eyes contains illuminators to brighten the eye area as well as ingredients to reduce dark circles and fine lines. If I'm having a lazy day at home I'm quite happy using the combination of all three products and going about my business without make up as whilst the skin is quite obviously make up free I still look radiant and refreshed and isn't nice when someone comments on your skin looking good when you're not wearing any make up.

All products are housed in attractive, pink packaging, the serum in a very sophisticated pump dispenser bottle. Depending on your skin type I am told you can get away without moisturiser although I find I still need a little something extra which is when I reach for my vintage feeling pot of Idealia Cream and imagine myself to be something of a Hollywood starlet as I sit at my dressing table.

Idealia Eyes comes in the familiar tube with an applicator which to be honest with you I am not a fan of using around my eye area. I find for me it's a bit awkward and I much prefer squeezing some onto my ring finger and dabbing around the area but you will find the way that works for you.

A look on the Boots website shows there is currently a 3 for 2 offer on these items so it's an opportunity to pick up my picks for your morning routine at a lower price. Vichy isn't a cheap range but it's certainly more affordable than other brands if budget is of issue and you're looking for something in this price range which still works effectively.

    1. Give them a try they're great and due to Boots being a stockist you will usually get away without spending full price!
