Maybelline Bleached Neons Colour Show | Bleached in Peach

Maybelline Colour Show Bleached Neons; Bleached in Peach link

Another US beauty release I was able to get my hands on during my holiday last month was the Maybelline Bleached Neons range which I believe apart from the Colour Show nail range will not hit UK shores.

I managed to track the display down to a Rite Aid in Hollywood and it was only this nail colour and a Master Glaze blush from that range that appealed so don't be too despondent if you can't get your hands on anything.

Unfortunately Bleached in Peach wasn't worth the hot and sweaty walk in the Los Angeles sun. I'm not the most adept at painting my own nails but with a trusty topcoat can manage to hide any imperfections,  unfortunately it was not the case with this. As you will see in the photo below after applying 3 coats to achieve an opaque finish, this colour left brush strokes which could not be disguised.

The formula as I mentioned was patchy to apply, took 3 coats and was generally difficult to work with which is a shame because I do love the colour and have received compliments on it during the days I was wearing it.

I haven't used any Maybelline nail colours before so I don't know if this is true for all the range (let me know in the comments) but in this case it was a thumbs down from me as I'm sure similar colours can be picked up from other brands without the difficult application or messy finish.

  1. Looovely pale peach, would look even more great with a golden tan. Shame the formula isn't delivering... :o) Xx

    1. It's a great colour, although so is the Milani one I'm wearing today and that's an amazing formula!
