I always say it but yes, another weekend has flown past and Monday arrived far too quickly for my liking!
The towns Christmas market Friday was lovely and certainly aided my Christmas spirit. My SIL and I particularly enjoyed our churches Festival of Trees consisting of various groups and shops following the theme of their businesses to decorate their trees. Our local book shop did a Twilight theme
but my SIL’s favourite was the Road Safety groups “Road Safe-tree”
Everyone put in such effort!
After our hog roast I joined a friend for hot chocolate – yum!!!
After our hog roast I joined a friend for hot chocolate – yum!!!
As I’d already mentioned Saturday was my friends wedding which was a lovely day
Doesn’t the bride look gorgeous?
Unfortunately my champagne excesses meant my plans Sunday changed somewhat! I had managed to get tickets for X Factor but it required getting up bright and early to queue ensuring entry and unfortunately sleep became more of a priority!
I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this week shall be a little quieter and I can get round to writing my Christmas cards before I miss the last postal dates!
LOL! When I clicked over to your blog I thought.. This looks like Happy Loves Rosie!! And then I scrolled down and saw who fabbed up your design:) Just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThat's such a shame about the x factor....bad Victoria..hehehe!! Love your t-shirt, looks much better on you then in the catalogue. I need to write my cards too....hate doing that :) x
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you didn't go to the X-factor you mad woman... but then weddings and me always end up with a lost day or two...
ReplyDeleteAnd of course, you looked gorgeous!
Ooooh and thank you oodles for the Puttery Treats sign up: as always I couldn't appreciate it more!
Lots of love

ReplyDeleteVictoria, you lucky devil tickets to the X factor, ah well. The bride look fab, as did you. Funny how things pan out, happy card writing, mine are all done and dusted xx

I got tickets for X Factor as well, on the Saturday night but unfortunately couldn't go as I still had the chest infection thing, and as we were told to queue up from lunchtime I didn't think it would do me much good to stand in the cold all day :-( never mind, maybe next year!
