Agua Bathhouse and Spa at Mondrian London link

Way back in November last year Carissa and I headed to the Mondrian London Hotel to visit the new Agua Bathhouse and Spa. We were treated to cocktails and canapés before a panel filled with the people behind the brands to be found in house. 

As a blogger you hear many presentations and talks from brands but I don't believe I've ever heard such a passionate group of people speak about their products. The panel consisted of the likes of Lola from Lola's Apothecary, Charlotte Knight from Ciate and Johanna Livijn from Estelle & Thild.

Following the panel we entered the Agua Bathhouse and Spa which is truly amazing with it's Roman inspired theme. Everything has been done to create a glamourous location for ladies to visit whatever their needs.

The spa looks to offer a modern generation and cover everyones needs  offers parties GLAMGLOW Mud Parties to a Boob Bar treatment to your regular manicures and pedicures. We were lucky enough to experience a Ciate Manicure and I'm rather smitten with the Orange Chocolate nail polish remover.

This was my first experience with Ciate products and what a way to start at Ciate's first experiencing working outside of their own company. This is not your typical spa as you will see from the treatments on offer using niche brands and somewhat quirky treatments. Whether you have a day to relax or simply 15 minutes to spare you will find something to suit your tastes.

I've been lucky enough to return to both the Mondrian and Agua spa since this first visit and would highly recommend you do too. The Rumpus Room is fantastic for after work drinks and the rooftop view is something else. 

Estelle & Thild All In One Tinted Moisturiser Review

Estelle & Thild BioHydrate All In One Tinted Moisturiser*

I used to be quite the fan of tinted moisturisers and BB creams as base products but recently they've taken a back seat due to my preference for a heavier coverage so I was interested to see what I would make of Estelle & Thilds All In One Tinted Moisturiser.

 

Estelle & Thild is a new to me brand hailing from Sweden where it is one of their top selling brands. The founder wanted to develop a range derived from organic ingredients and you will note all their products are free from parabens and the like.

 

The All In One Tinted Moisturiser is designed to add a healthy glow and subtle luminosity to the skin and aims to diminish the appearance of imperfections and evenly tone the skin.  Available in two shades, I have 02 Medium which was a little too dark for me when I first started using it but now I have some colour from my recent trip to Dubai it's a pretty good match.

The Estelle & Thild moisturiser contacts hydraluronic acid to plump and hydrate the skin and give a youthful radiance which as someone approaching the wrong side of 30 is just what I like to hear.

 

The product itself is beautifully and practically packaged in a plastic bottle with a pump dispenser making it handy for travel. The texture and appearance when dispensed is very much like your traditional foundations and provides the sort of coverage you want in that skintone is evened, blemishes concealed whilst still allowing for your real skin (ableit 'enhanced') to show through.

 

Be wary it is thin and one pump is far too much and I manage to cover my face in half a pump, used with both fingers and brush applications. I'm overwhelmed with the coverage I'm given from this tinted moisturiser.

 

Overall I'm really happy with this product, it's one step up coverage wise to my favoured Chanel Healthy Glow Fluid so this will be ideal in the Summer when I want a lighter weight but with a little more coverage.
