Our Molly

Yesterday my family got together on what would've been my nan's birthday to spread her ashes and plant a flower in our garden to remember her by

Kelly was put on the case to find an appropriate rose and she did very well with finding one called Our Molly

Nan's name was Mary but known to everyone as Molly so it was perfect. It was not a sad occasion and we all smiled when my 6 year old cousin asked to say some words to nan and said "thank you for the sweets" (she had the best sweetie draw for us grandkids!)

  7. What a lovely idea. My mum has a sweetie tin and all the grandchildren and small people always get to choose something from it... it's tradition, and as you know, is the thing they all remember her for! Such lovely words..the innocence of youth!

  9. What a lovely idea :)

I know what you mean about some of the CSs some of the ones our way are posher than the posh new shops, and the things inside cost even more than if they were bought new.
