The Comforter Bubble Bar from Lush

The Comforter Bar £4.50 from Lush link

To say I'm pleased to see the behind of January would be an understatement but having The Comforter Bar in my possession for bath time did help see me through the miserable month.

I'm still dabbling with various products from Lush and actually picked this up when I'd popped in to check out the Valentine's range which didn't appeal half as much as this gorgeous blackcurrant scented lump.

Lush say this will last 2 baths, I managed to eek it out for three and I could probably have got another out of it but I decided that last nights bath needed extra bubbles. A major plus for me with this bubble bar is the lingering scent. Even hours after the bath has been emptied the smell of blackcurrants is still present which I really enjoy.

The Comforter has a strange texture in that it is soft when crumbled and will need washing from your hands as it can get a little sticky but that's easily solved but running your hands in the bath water to make sure no product is wasted. As one would expect your bath turns into a purpley pink heaven without leaving behind any staining or residue.

I definitely give The Comforter a thumbs up although the only downside I find to Lush products is how and where to store them. This sat on my bathroom shelf in it's packaging which I'm fearful of getting wet and/or mixing with other scented products - if you're a Lush fan let me know how you store yours.

  1. I've not tried it but I might give it a go. I think Lush sell tins, although they're for body butters, you could probably use it for this.

  2. This sounds so soothing and like it could carry you away from all the stresses of the day! It's always so wonderful to have lovely scents whether bath of shower. Love hearing about your product tests Victoria! With so many products out there I personal become boggled looking at all of them in store or online.

Blessings for a good week, Edie Marie

  4. I've heard so many amazing reviews on this, but I've never tried it out myself! I store all of my Lush products in a bin outside of my bathroom so they don't get ruined from the moisture from my showers!

  5. Hmm might have to try one of those they sound great - only used one of lushs facemask and it was lovely but you could only use it for some many days so there was quite a bit of wastage for the money :-( xx

  6. Hey hon,
I love Lush! The comforter is by far my fave! I store mine in my clothes drawer... Makes your clothes smell lovely! I sometimes keep the empty bags in there too as the smell lasts ages. Hope you're well?
