The past few weeks have been rather manic for me so come Saturday all I want to do is relax with nothing more taxing than watching a good film
It all started one Saturday popping round to join Ben and his sister for some lunch which as you can see we set out as a carpet picnic whilst we watched The VowThe following two weeks have been spent with Ben, companionably on a sofa each at my flat watching movie after movie! We've worked our way through; Bridesmaids, Two Weeks Notice, Scarface, Final Destination 5, Friends with Benefits and The Talented Mr Ripley - an eclectic mix don't you think!!
I won't mention the food we've worked our way through!!
What a lovely picnic and a fab mix of movies!

Interesting movie selection ;-). I could quite happily get stuck into that yummy indoor picnic, it looks so tempting.
ReplyDeletelove doing that. that's my saturday nights (I know, I am totally rock N roll). I can watch the same ones over & over, mainly You've got Mail and Julie & Julia. Throw in some prosecco and a rainy night outside, and I'm in totaly cosy heaven!

I absolutely adore smashing through films on a lazy weekend day with T, we cuddle up on the sofa - or make a tent - and chomp our way through doughnuts!

ReplyDeleteThat sounds and looks fab. I don't think we could manage an indoor floor picnic with the three dogs and a cat scavenging though :) x
ReplyDeleteSounds lovely and I love the picnic - romantic!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a movie marathon. How fun!

When our new baby had her fussy hours at night, my husband and I would turn on Bridesmaids and laugh whilst the baby howled, it was the PERFECT mental oasis!! :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely idea, just for a change :)
