I have a confession to make.... I am a murderer.... of flowers! My lovely plant purchased a few weeks ago - dead
I'm also not the most artistic with arranging flowers and it was frustrating me because as this tip from Danielle Proud says by way of advice - flowers brighten up your home
A vase of fresh flowers or a potted floor plant will bring colour and season into your new home, instantly lifting the room and making a bright focal feature to put a smile on your face. For bright flowers for all seasons, try investing in fabric or long lasting flowers that are prolonged to look fresh for a whole season. That way you get the unique fusion of beauty and value that adds that noticeable personal touch to take you through all seasons.
Luckily we have a fabulous local florist who only sells faux flowers and has fantastic arrangements so I treated myself at the weekend to this gorgeous red display that even I won't be able to kill!!!
I used to have a pair of dogs the same as yours a few years ago and I gave them away, wish I still had them now!! Love your roses, Lucey x
ReplyDeleteMe too! No-one buys me flowers or plants anymore as I have the 'killer' touch! There are such good 'fakes' on the market, saves plant life and money! Your room is looking fab btw! Sue x
ReplyDeleteYour arrangement is pretty!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great alternative to fresh flowers, plus your arrangement will last a lot longer.
ReplyDeletehahaaha you are too cute! I love that arrangement. Very pretty! Grace xoox
ReplyDeleteThey look real to me....I kill plants!
ReplyDeleteI have faux flowers at home and love to decorate with them. Long lasting and cheaper on the pocket. :)
