Book Review | Dancing at Midnight by Julia Quinn

This week I am reading Dancing at Midnight, another book by Julia Quinn

I enjoyed Splendid by Julia I read a couple of months ago and Dancing at Midnight is the recommended second in the series featuring one of the characters previously mentioned

I'm pleased to say that I'm nearing the end of what was a long Amazon wish list of books I wanted to read achieved with the help of the library - I have to say once again if you haven't already checked out your libraries online service for ordering books you really must! It has saved me a fortune!!

I'd love to hear what are you reading right now?

  1. Last week I bought some books at the thrift store, one Ethel Portnoy, an american lady writing in Dutch. Her book is filled with essays about...food, just when I started a low carb diet I read about snacks. Actually I stopped, I cannot read about food at this moment.
Have to start another book, but I have a zillion magazines waiting too! Have a great week!

  6. I will have to check out your series. I just finished reading "The 19th Wife" by David Ebershoff. I see too they made it into a TV movie coming up this month! It was very good, it's interesting and a bit disturbing too reading about the Mormon history. I liked also how it had a modern day story to tie the history to today's Mormons. You should check it out! Suzie

  8. Now that the Queen is in school all day I must try reading again My last books have all been childrens I have to say the Hardy Boys were my latest....I was at a tag sale the other day and the woman had a free pile of smut books.
The long haired half naked man and the woman with that silly love crazed look in her eye!!! You know the pile, she was in her 70's don't let me be that woman...so I quickly left empty handed straight back to my Don Drapers arms!!
