Today I'm off to the dentist for a tooth extraction!
***OUCH***
I don't mind telling you I'm not looking forward to it!
On the bright side I do hope the tooth fairy pays me a visit this evening
I'm not too old am I?

Ohh no! Ouch!!!
ReplyDeleteGoodluck :)
Good luck Victoria! Don't forget to bring the tooth home. When my 'back in the mouth' tooth, the one you don't really need was taken out my dentist had thrown it away before I could speak again. Mmm I guess he didn't believe in the tooth fairy anymore.
ReplyDeleteGood luck Victoria, hope everything goes well!
ReplyDeleteAnd hope your dentist would be a handsome man...less pain with a lovely panorama! ;-0
Poor you!
ReplyDeleteI so islike the dentist, I'm sure you will be fine tho!
Take care...

Oh I feel for you! I went last week and was terrified! Had to be a big brave mummy as the boys were with me too..trying not to transfer the fear, although doesn't ever seem to be as bad as I make it seem before I go. Hope all goes ok for you x
ReplyDeleteNever too old for the tooth fairy hun, just don't tell Jess I said that. She had a toot come out last week and I didn't have any change so I told her as she didn't believe anymore then she didn't get, what a bad Mummy 'hehe'!
ReplyDeleteGood luck, it's never as bad as we think it's going to be. I had one out when pregnant with minimal drugs and it was fine.
((hugs))

Awhhh, I will be thinking of you, I have always not liked dental visits. Now then Madam, you know very well there are tooth fairies! Everyone knows that! I wont have any of this doubting. I hear they are lining up right now waiting to visit the underside of your pillow! Hugs! Suzie. xxx
ReplyDeleteHi again, so sweet dental girl, fingers crossed it wont hurt and of course your not too young to still be visited by the tooth fairy! Or the purse fairy either for that matter. Can't wait to see your entries for the Heels that Heal competion over @ My Passport to Style. Please keep spreading the word and grab our stylish Dear Diary button! Sharon & Lauren xx
ReplyDeleteBless you, I too hate the dentist. I've had one extraction and the relief was wonderful, I'm so glad I did it and it honestly didn't hurt, the poor dentist just had to fight with it a little.
ReplyDeleteHope it goes well and no, you're never too old for fairies :) x
Hi Victoria
ReplyDeleteGood luck at the dentist! For some reason I find tooth extraction less nerve wracking or painful than having a filling done! Fillings, I really cannot stand at all. I have had a tooth ache for a while and keep putting off going which I know is really silly as it will get worse. Must be brave and make that call!
Will be thinking of you!

No you are never too old for that darlin'. Really hope it goes well and that your okay.

ouch! don't! i have to book the dentist for us today - i've been putting it off for years! My hubbie keeps telling me to do it, but i'm sooo scared!!
ReplyDeletexxx
Oh no! You have my sympathies, really not good with dentists although got better over the years. Is it a wisdom tooth?
ReplyDeleteLet's hope tooth fairys read blogs so they can pop by your place later ;o) xx
Ouch!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are brave
Alison
Oh you poor thing hope all goes well and I'm sure you can't possibly be too old for the tooth fairy but if I was you I'd get myself a little treat just in case.
ReplyDeleteOh bless... but Honey I'm loving the Barbie doll dentist! Mine looks like Reggie Perrin and calls me Poppet...tis a terrifying business. Good luck!x
ReplyDeleteGood luck,I hate the dentist! xxx
ReplyDeleteOuch indeed, but I am sure the tooth fairy will make it all worthwhile. You did drop a hint or two, just in case she was listening, right?
ReplyDeleteOW ... good luck!! I'm up for a root canal next week, I feel your pain :)
ReplyDeleteOuch! Are you OK?
ReplyDeleteYuk, hate hate hate
I insist you buy something pretty as soon as possible with tooth fairy funds!
Sarah x
yikes! Hope it all goes well. If the tooth fairy doesn't show up then you have permission to go shopping instead!

Ouch! Been there before, good luck!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I do hope it didn't hurt too much, Victoria xx
ReplyDeleteOuch - good luck.
ReplyDeleteI saw my dentist yesterday - he commented he'd not seen me for a while (18 months +). Fortunately all way well.

No you're never too old for the tooth fairy. I had a tooth out a month ago and it bled all day long I went back to the dentist on the tea time and had to have the gum stitched ouch... Luckily my dentist is a wonderful young girl called Leah who is so gentle and she put's you at ease straightaway not like my previous dentist who I think was a butcher in a former life, hahaha. Anyway My gum has nearly healed now and I hope your's soon will be too, don't forget to put the tooth under your pillow and announce it loudly so the tooth fairy can hear you lol Lucey x
ReplyDeleteHope it went well & the tooth fairy comes tonight! :)x
ReplyDeleteDefinitely you need a tooth fairy - but I had a tooth out once and was really apprehensive, yet it was all over in a trice and quite painless - much better than having a filling.
ReplyDeletePomona x
I hope your extraction went ok, Victoria and the ouchies are gone fairly quickly! Suzie
ReplyDeleteIt's been quite long since the extraction. I'm very sure that you did just fine and that, yes, the Tooth Fairy may have visited you after then -- never too old for that. Did you have to come back after the extraction?
