Before I went off to Las Vegas I put myself on a spending ban knowing full well I would be spending more than enough in the likes of Sephora and Walgreens. Of course this was easier said when after a bad day at work I decided to cheer myself up with a few purchase in Superdrug.
My chosen cheer me up beauty buys were L'Oreal's Eau de Teint Foundation, Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in As You Want Victoria (of course!) and a Sleek Blush in Antique. As is often the case with week day purchases I don't find the time to experiment with them till the weekend when I tend to pile them all on at once - as well as a few other products from my stash including Mac Omega, Cranapple Liner, Bare Minerals Lash Domination Mascara* and Chanel Illuminating Powder.
It definitely made a change to sport a full face of make up on a lazy Sunday and I'm pretty pleased with the choices I made.

ReplyDeleteI envy you your new coat. I'm on a self imposed coat buying ban. I've got four fake furs and I'm always eyeing up new ones each year. Trouble is, they take up so much room in my wardrobe, so NO MORE! But if I was buying this year, I'd be seriously tempted by the one you bought. Love it.

p.s ta for your thoughts re CDLM. I can't wear TBS stuff on my face, it stings, so I'm hoping this one will be good. I've seen comparisons to Nivea too! I'm going to just give it a go, but if it doesn't give me supermodel perfect skin, well, I shall sulk!

I have that same mascara. I got a sample of it in the summer - maybe from a UK magazine...and eventually tracked it down over here. Bare Minerals shop itself said it was sold out as was soooooo popular but then I went up to Sephora and then had it in stock. I love it. Have been a Lancome 'Defencils' girl for years but I may now have to reconsider...
